The Yeshiva had the special merit to host Rabbi Naftoly Bier and Rabbi Zalman Leff, the Roshei Kollel of the Kollel of Greater Boston. They each addressed the bochurim before the Yomim Noraim. Seated in our new Beis Medrash, Rabbi Bier discussed the beauty, honor, and kedusha of a Beis Keneses and Beis Medrash. He taught, based on the Medrash, how every shul built since the time of the Churban HaBayis carries with it a stone of the Beis HaMikdash. He encouraged the students to recognize this gift of a new Beis Medrash and to treat it with the respect it deserves. Rabbi Leff addressed Kedushas HaDibur; how important it is to use our mouths and words with care. The bochurim took the Roshei Kollel’s messages to heart as a new year began.
