We are thrilled to announce a significant development at Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael (YOY) this academic year – the creation of the role of Dean of Student Success. This new position is a testament to YOY’s commitment to nurturing the growth and achievement of each student on their unique educational journey. Appointed to this new role is Rabbi Dovid Bielory, a devoted Rebbi who has been an integral part of YOY since its inception nearly a decade ago.
Collaborating closely with Rabbi Feldman and our esteemed faculty, Rabbi Bielory will orchestrate efforts to empower every student to reach their fullest potential in both their kodesh and secular studies.
One of the key aspects of his new role will involve engaging with parents and students to identify individual goals and provide the necessary support throughout the year to achieve them. In preparation for this new responsibility, Rabbi Bielory proactively reached out to parents over the summer to gain insight into how best to support their sons’ success this academic year. This personalized approach reflects his commitment to differentiating instruction to meet each student’s unique needs.
Furthermore, Rabbi Bielory’s dedication to enhancing his leadership skills and capacity is evident in his recent acceptance into the “YOU Lead” Program organized by Prizmah, the Center for Day schools. This program, known for its research-informed and highly personalized approach to leadership development, equips professionals with the tools and knowledge needed to excel in their current roles and future endeavors.
As we embark on this new year at Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael, we are confident that Rabbi Dovid Bielory’s expertise, dedication, and passion will play a pivotal role in guiding our students toward success in both their academic and personal growth.
