Gemara, Science, and Sports: A Standout Summer at YOY
This July, Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael expanded its middle school summer program to four evenings a week, adding a hands-on science lab alongside learning, pizza, and basketball. The response was incredible, and more boys than ever joined the fun. YOY is proud to enrich our community with inspiring, well-rounded programming.
Dorm Opens to New Students
Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael proudly opened its dormitory this fall, allowing students from across the country to experience the outstanding opportunities that the school has to offer. With Rabbi Reuven Sebbag at the helm as dorm mashgiach, the enriching dorm programming, including Shabbos experiences, will provide a home away from home for the talmidim from as far away as Texas, Virginia, Lakewood and Rhode Island. The dorm marks a new chapter of growth for the Yeshiva and we are delighted to expand our reach and build our Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael community with students focused on excellence and committed to growth; hallmarks of YOY’s mission.
